This particular item is a very scarce Black Lamp from the ‘Docklands Rail’, possibly from a section at TILBURY DOCKS, ENGLAND. It is date marked 1944 and is a candle conversion object, which was possibly done during the 2nd World War due to the shortages of oil substances. It is now over 80 years old and is in a great condition, the size being approx. 9″ x 4″ (23cm x 11.5cm).
